Bitski x adidas NFT Drop

Role: I helped lead the first-ever NFT drop in company history at adidas to commemorate the signing of Trevor Lawrence to the brand.

After our initial activation announcement we knew that we wanted to do something with a digital focus and knew that the NFT space was on fire and could tap into Trevor’s powerful fanbase to capture excitement while also raising money for charity in Jacksonville, FL.

I helped project manage the NFT drop internally, was a lead point of contact with Bitski, and managed athlete relations and “day of” drop of the NFT.

Raising money in perpetuity.

We launched three different editions of the ERC-1155 token with Bitski in order to draw as much attention to the NFT collection as possible while simultaneously raising money for charity. There was a “Platinum” open edition for 24 hours, a surprise “Sunshine” edition open for an hour, and the main prize “Iridescent” 1/1 NFT up for 24 hour auction.

Getting Trevor and his agency’s buy-in here was critical. Trevor was most excited about the opportunity for the contract to have royalties written into all secondary sales of his NFT going straight to his charity of choice.

IMPACT:

  • 1/1 NFT sold for $53,000

  • Sunshine and Platinum editions sold for total of $106,658

  • Total amount raised for charity = $159,658

  • First experiential marketing campaign for adidas with NFTs. Led to push into web3 with BAYC / Punks Comic collabs
