WNBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND

Role: Our team at Voltage wanted to show our NCAA Women’s clients what it was like to experience All-Star Weekend in Chicago as a professional athlete. I managed booking hospitality for our seven clients, connected our athletes to brands like Meta, Puma, and Wilson, and helped plan and coordinate content creation and social media strategy.

Our focus here was to help create better brand relationships for our athletes and place a heavy emphasis on content creation and athlete brand strategy.

CONTENT CREATION + SOCIAL STRATEGY

Knowing that Meta’s biggest product push comes in the form of Reels content - we wanted to provide our athletes with the insights and strategies around Reels and how to elevate their brand. The goal here was to draw in eyeballs from Brands to create opportunities for NIL deals. Bringing in content creators who specialize in Reels allowed for us to create engaging content for their profiles, start to build a relationship with the IG team, as well as increase organic growth for their social media profiles.

My role was to help develop content strategies for Twitter, IG, and Tik Tok and doing product shoots for brands like Wilson, Move, and Flagrant Magazine.

IMPACT

  • Highest enagement and viewership for Reels for all seven clients in attendance

  • New partnership with Wilson for two clients

  • Increased IG social media following for all clients
