The QB Retreat
Role: Since 2017, I’ve had the pleasure of attending Steve Clarkson’s QB Retreat in Santa Monica, CA where I managed athlete relations/marketing, event activation, and cross category product marketing. In my time at adidas and Voltage I’ve helped bring partnerships to life with Call of Duty, Panini, adidas (while at Voltage), and The Draft Network.
My goal while managing this partnership with Steve Clarkson and adidas was to always bring in the best talent in the NCAA, from Heisman trophy winners to future #1 NFL draft picks - we had the best of the best.
I helped to showcase the latest and greatest from adidas product offerings, increased adidas brand desire among their target consumers, and drove conversation and engagement to adidas social channels.
Call of Duty x QB Retreat
I was able to work with my good friends from Kovert Creative to help bring a Call of Duty partnership to life at the Retreat. We gave a sneak peek at the soon to be released COD and brought excitement to the player’s via a head to head battle with prize money at stake.

I was responsible for managing athlete relations, cross-functional product collaboration, partnership activation, content strategy, and event activation.
My goal was to put the newest adidas product on the biggest influencers in football, provide them with content that they wanted to post on their social profiles, and provide a first-class event experience for the athletes and our partners.
In the example below - I helped lead the direction of the “Big Mood” activation for adidas to help push out their largest retail concept for Dick’s Sporting Goods. By delivering adidas high quality content on a small budget, we were able to help push sell-thru of their product and drive traffic to .com where they eventually sold out of the concept.
